Town of Wyocena, Columbia County

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in the Wyocena Town Hall (119 North Washington, Wyocena), a PUBLIC HEARING will be held on the PROPOSED 2022 BUDGET of the Town of Wyocena, Columbia County.

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF ELECTORS NOTICE

Town of Wyocena, Columbia County

 

Notice is hereby given that a special town meeting of the Town of Wyocena, Columbia County, Wisconsin will be held at the town hall located at 119 North Washington, Wyocena, Wisconsin, on the 18th day of November, 2021, immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2022 town budget, which begins at 6:30 p.m., for the following purposes:

 

1.   To consider the adoption of a resolution by the town meeting endorsing a town board resolution which proposes that the town levy exceed the state allowable levy limit under s. 66.0602, Wis. Stat., specifically a proposed tax levy which would exceed the allowable town tax levy for 2021, before adjustments, by 5 percent, for a dollar increase of $20,141.50.

 

2.   To approve the 2021 total town tax levy to be collected in 2022 pursuant to s. 60.10(1)(a), Wis. Stat.
